Siyi Liu's practice is focused on drawing and painting. The artist recently began the exploration of space and the body, attempting to explore a threshold between real life and unreality, a grey area between the conscious and the unconscious. Based on her own experience as a woman, she attempts to discuss the imagination of physical and natural space from a female perspective, transforming some of life's ordinary scenes into the unusual and creating a dream-like unreality in her images through the use of colour. Through her artistic practice, she hopes to express her own imagination of parallel worlds.
