We are never simply encountering art, never merely absorbing another’s story. In every act of looking, we are drawn into narration, gathering fragments, seeking coherence, and recognising ourselves in the very places where certainty gives way to wonder.


Fables unfolds as an inquiry into how narrative shapes perception, into stories that are fractured yet resonant, fleeting yet enduring, elusive yet profoundly felt. Here, narrative is not linear but refractive - shifting between image and idea, gesture and memory. In its echoes and silences, its ruptures and continuities, narrative becomes a vessel through which we orient ourselves in relation to time, change, and the unknown.
