About the event
“All knowledge of reality starts from experience and ends in it.”
- Albert Einstein
The world as it exists in itself is not identical to the world as it is lived. Modern physics has shown that reality, at its most fundamental scale, is contingent, relational, and not fully resolved; yet experience remains the way the world becomes tangible and meaningful to us. We encounter reality through touch, sound, image, texture, movement, rhythm, and form - in the grain of a photograph, the cadence of a voice, the surface of an object, or the presence of another body in space. Across painting, sculpture, installation, moving image, text, sound, and hybrid forms, the exhibition considers perception not as secondary to reality, but as one of the conditions through which a world becomes sensible, inhabitable, and shared.
