THE THEORY OF EVEYTHING

THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING
Theory of Everything borrows its title from the scientific ambition to reconcile the universe's fundamental forces within a single explanatory framework. Here, the phrase becomes less a claim to explain existence than a curatorial proposition: an attempt to trace the continuities through which matter becomes life, life becomes civilisation, and civilisation leaves behind its material, visual and emotional record.
Across the room, cosmic formations encounter cultivated wheat; prehistoric life sits beside vessels shaped by human hands; botanical structures, photographic impressions and systems of reproduction move between nature and technology, while figures appear only as shadows behind glass. Each work carries a different measure of time - from the astronomical and geological to the biological, historical and intimate - together they suggest civilisation not as a fixed achievement, but as a fragile accumulation of gestures: to cultivate, to make, to preserve, to record and to remember.
Throughout the room, presence is inseparable from impermanence. Bodies disappear, species vanish, materials weather, objects outlive their makers, yet traces remain. Art enters this continuum as both imprint and archive: a way to hold what would otherwise pass, and to translate fleeting human existence into forms that may endure beyond us.
